IMPART Interns Sara Smith and Lynn Waller, Jr. recently assisted in the organization and preparation for the Sylvia Gaither Garrison Library Dedication Ceremony. Located in the Banneker-Douglass Museum, this library and archives provide reference materials on Maryland's African American Heritage. Sylvia Gaither Garrison was its first librarian.
Sara and Lynn are both graduate students in the College of Information Studies at the University of Maryland, College Park.
